At Life Source Education Centre, we are committed to providing a well-rounded and inclusive curriculum that empowers learners with knowledge across a broad range of subjects while instilling essential, lifelong skills.
With the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), our learners’ academic progress is assessed continuously over time to support their growth. The assessment structure includes the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) in Grade 6, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and School-Based Assessments, which contribute the remaining 60%.

Learner performance is measured across four expectation levels:
- Exceeding Expectations (EE): Learners perform all activities accurately as expected.
- Meeting Expectations (ME): Learners follow instructions well and complete most tasks effectively.
- Approaching Expectations (AE): Learners make an effort but may be inconsistent in completing activities.
- Below Expectation (BE): Learners show significant difficulties or inaccuracies in task completion.
Through this system, we support each child’s learning journey and provide the guidance they need to thrive.
